Welcome Crown Monochrome is a dedicated
group of keen photographers of all abilities who enjoy producing
monochrome photographs by traditional darkroom methods. We also have
members with extensive knowledge of digital photography and monochrome
inkjet printing experience.
The Group was the brain child of Terrick Meakin, ARPS who invited a number of like minded photographers in the West Country to join him to further their interest in monochrome printing. For almost three years we met at the Crown in Tolldown - hence the name of the Group. However as our numbers increased we outgrew the Crown.
We meet on the
first Monday of every month - unless it falls
on a bank holiday when we roll it forward a
week - to view and comment on work brought
along by members and from time to time we have a
guest speaker.
