The 9th Annual Exhibition of our members
work is now on show in the Atrium Gallery of The Royal United
Hospital (RUH), Bath. The
Exhibition is running in conjunction with The
Royal Photographic Society Members Exhibition, and both shows
are guaranteed to attract a large number of visitors.
Our Exhibition could not have taken
place without the continuing sponsorship of Jan and John Herlinger
of Fotospeed
of Corsham for whose generosity we are very grateful. We would urge
you to support their wide product range of both traditional monochrome
chemistry and digital materials.
The Royal Photographic Society (based in
Bath) is the foremost Photographic Society in the world. It was founded
in 1853, when photography was in its infancy, and has been a leading force
in its advancement ever since. During its long history it has maintained
a strong and committed membership worldwide.
The RPS instigated The Members' Exhibition in 2003 as a response to requests
for an exclusive members' show and also to celebrate the 150th anniversary of
the Society. The Exhibition was so successful that it was decided to repeat the
show every two years.
Entries for this year's Members' Exhibition were submitted from across the globe.
The 100 prints that were selected by the judges showcase the diverse styles and
techniques adopted across the membership and the high quality of their work.
The Exhibition will tour the UK until April 2008.
